HOW DO WE IMPROVE CONDITIONS FOR TECH IN MANITOBA?

Have a say in how our government can support growth of Manitoba tech-based organizations

Tech Manitoba is developing a public policy strategy that will focus on driving an agenda for the tech sector at the civic, provincial and federal levels of government. The goal is to shape and influence policies and legislation that will contribute to creating the conditions for this province’s technology industry to grow and thrive.

In this effort, we are looking first to you, our valued members, to provide us with your perspectives on the issues and priorities that matter most to you. We’d like to invite you to contribute to this process at our upcoming Policy Lab.

The Tech Manitoba Policy Lab is a professionally facilitated 2.5 hour session designed for you to be heard and have a voice at the table.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Founders of tech companies, decision-makers working in tech, tech entrepreneurs, those whose business is affected by tech-related government policies

This session is FREE and it includes coffee and pastries.

By using this collaborative approach, we will be able to leverage the strength of the association’s collective members to inform and educate policymakers on a technology-based, pro-growth, business-focused agenda. Join us and bring your ideas for ways to improve out tech community through legislative initiatives.

The session will follow Chatham House Rules – comments and opinions voiced will not be attributed to any one individual both during and following the event. Tech Manitoba will extrapolate the information gathered to inform and shape the priorities for 2020-2021 included in the public policy strategy and guide.

Please contact us if you have any questions. We need to hear your thoughts on March 24, 2020. Thank you.
