Support the next Generation of Tech Professionals

Tech Manitoba in collaboration with Pembina Trails Early College (PTEC) and MITT (Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology) is providing grade 11 and 12 students with an industry-mentored career readiness learning experience.  Learning beyond the classroom with industry support and expertise provides students with real-world insight.

Mentored by industry professionals members, students will be set into small groups to work on the following areas: 

  • tech focused resumes for grade 11s Full-Stack Developer and Cloud Network Technician students
  • the interview process and mock interviews for grade 12s Full-Stack Developer and Cloud Network Technician students

Commitment:
(sign up for one or multiple mentorship opportunities)

  • Tech Resume Building: 2x 1.5 hours session
  • Mock Interviews: 1x 2 hour session

Tech Resume building:
Duration 2 x 90 minute meetings (mentor to student group)
Dates: TBA – Spring 2025
Audience: 22 Grade 11 PTEC/MITT students (small groups of 3- 4)

Mock interviews:
Duration: 1 x  2- 3 hours
Dates: TBA – Spring 2025
Audience: 27 Grade 12 PTEC/MITT students (small groups of 3-4)
