Support the next Generation of Tech Professionals
Tech Manitoba in collaboration with Pembina Trails Early College (PTEC) and MITT (Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology) is providing grade 11 and 12 students with an industry-mentored career readiness learning experience. Learning beyond the classroom with industry support and expertise provides students with real-world insight.
Mentored by industry professionals members, students will be set into small groups to work on the following areas:
- tech focused resumes for grade 11s software developer and network + system administrator
- the interview process and mock interviews for grade 12s software developer and network + system administrator
- technical interviews for grade 12 software developer students
- code review for grade 11 and 12 software developer students
- network design reviews for grade 11 Network and System Administrator students
Commitment:
(sign up for one or multiple mentorship opportunities)
- Tech Resume Building: 2x 1.5 hours session
- Mock Interviews: 1x 2 hour session
- Technical Interviews: 1x 2 hour session
- Code and/or Network Design reviews: 2x 1 hour session

Tech Resume building:
Duration 2 x 90 minute meetings (mentor to student group)

Mock interviews:
Duration: 1 x 2- 3 hours
